‘1984 vs BRAVE NEW WORLD’

16 marca br. uczniowie klasy 2atp wzięli udział w edukacyjnym spektaklu interaktywnym  w języku angielskim: ‘1984 vs Brave New World’. Scenariusz spektaklu powstał w oparciu o powieści  G.Orwell’a ‘Rok 1984’ i A.Huxley’a ‘Nowy wspaniały świat’. Spektakl niewątpliwie był intelektualnym wyzwaniem,  a ponadto sprawdzianem kompetencji językowych i zdaliśmy go na...... piątkę:), o czym świadczą zamieszczone poniżej recenzje uczniów.

‘I think the performances "1894" and "The New World" were very interesting and breathtaking. Each story had a deep meaning, which I really liked. The acting was very good, sometimes I forgot that all this is not real. I also really liked the English accent of the actors, which made them very easy to understand. I really enjoyed this show’.

 ‘In my opinion, the performance entitled " 1894 vs Brave New World" was a very interesting and new experience, thanks to this experience it was possible to expand your knowledge of the English language and learn many interesting and useful words. The actors' acting was brilliant, making them a pleasure to watch. Thanks to these factors, the whole thing was interesting and worth seeing.’

 ‘My first impression was that despite the pandemic, you could watch a spectacle that was really very good. The actors were well prepared, the effects were surprising, eg. When the scene changed,the scenography also did. The spectacle „1984” was well presented and it can be said that the history has become our reality, taking into the account current world events. Now everything and everyone can "watch" us. Also in  "1984" the world was limited, people could not do everything, they were monitored and punished. Thank you very much for the spectacles. It was a nice experience. Both spectacles were very involving, surprising.’
